Hi, how can we help you?

Promotion: Profile Kanopy on Your Library Website

Suggested initiatives

One of the most effective initiatives is to profile Kanopy on your library website. You can also find some images and logos here that you can use as you see fit for these purposes too.

Here are some suggested initiatives:

1) Post a Link on your Library Website

"Watch over over 26,000 films on Kanopy! Just launched at {insert library name here}, you can now watch must-see classic film from The Criterion Collection, learn about every subject imaginable from The Great Courses and PBS or indulge in festival indie or world cinema sourced from award-winning filmmakers globally. Kanopy makes it easy to watch any time, to share and discuss films."

2) Put the Marc records into your Catalog

You can find a separate section on this help desk for how to handle Kanopy marc records - see here.

3) Profile specific collection links on special library pages, blogs, libguides or social media

You can also also post direct URL links to any subject or producer collection of films on Kanopy. To get a subject link, select a subject dropdown from the subject menu and copy the URL. To get a producer collection link, click on the producer name below any film title in search results or on a film page.

4) Add a link to your digital collection in your social media profiles
