Adding a new membership
Go to your Memberships page in your Dashboard and click the orange “Add a new membership” button below your membership listings.
Begin typing your library name in the search box that appears and select the library from the dropdown menu and click Add. This will add the library to your memberships.
Click the inactive status button that appears to the right of your library name.
Enter your library card number and PIN/password to authenticate your membership and click Save.
If the library is successfully added, the status button will change to say “Active” and you will be able to click on the library’s name to access their library specific Kanopy website.
Only one membership from the same library can be added to your account at one time.
Changing your default membership
Go to your Memberships page in your Dashboard. If the library you wish to be your default library is not listed in your Memberships, select the “Add a new membership” button to add it. Select the “Set as Default” button that appears to the right of the library name to set it as your default.
Removing a membership
Go to your Memberships page in your Dashboard. You will not be able to remove a membership if it is set as your default, so if this is the case, tag a different library as the default. Select the red “Remove” button to the far right of the listing to remove from your account.
Reactivating a membership
If you are receiving an error that your library card is no longer active, please contact your library so they can help you renew your card. Once this has been done, come back to your Memberships page and click the status button to the right of your library name to resave your information and reconnect your membership.
